Mike Florio, the ever increasingly popular creator of
Profootballtalk.com, writes in an article for
SportingNews.com that
the Bucs must spend 28 million dollars to reach the salary floor. They are not neccesarily required to spend that on free agents, but can also use that money to restructure the contracts of some our current roster players. Kudos to
Bruce Allen and the front office for fixing all the salary cap blunders that previous GM
Rich McKay left for the new regime. Allen has consistently said we will pursue any free agent who can help our team.
