Warren Sapp had some choice words recently for his former coach, Jon Gruden, when asked the following question:
So who deserves the most credit for winning the Super Bowl? Dungy or Gruden?
I always say this: The damn cake was already in the oven. It was just a matter of when it came out. All Jon had to do was put the icing on it.
Sapp doesn’t tiptoe around these questions – (TampaBay.com)

I know it seems as though I have been griping a lot on here lately, and in all actuality, I have! From Jeff Garcia’s whining babyisness to the laughable comedy that is Chris “I’m a hostage Simms.” Something occured in the Tampa Bay area the other night, that caused me to laugh and be fed up simultaneously. The joker that currently occupies the airwaves of Tampa from 3 PM to 6 PM on a suprisingly good (other than this buffoon) Sports Radio Station, 620 WDAE, received a DUI.
Steve Duemig, this crybaby, amateur, hypocrite, Philly loving, imbecile, moron is someone that has [...]

On 1st round pick, Aqib Talib:
“He’s going to be the face of this franchise.”
WOW. If he has been that impressive in mini-camps, I am enthralled. This was the guy I wanted all along in the draft, thinking he had the chance to make a huge impact at a position where we needed an influx of youth. Should be a great training camp battle between Talib, Phillip Buchanon and Eugene Wilson. Regardless, we are stacked at CB.

On RB Cadillac Williams:
“What he’s done is nothing short of miraculous,” Gruden said. “He has worked his tail off. He’s got a chance to be [...]

In what seem like a minor occurence to most people, and even to some Bucs fans, Jake Plummer and the Bucs have agreed to a settlement on his retirement and the subsequent bonus money that was owed back to the Denver Broncos, and then the Bucs after the trade of Plummer to the Bucs for a 7th round pick.
Plummer agreed to give the Bucs back 3.5 million dollars which will be applied to next years cap. While it might seem minor being as though we’re 10 trillion dollars under the cap, it should be important as we look to lock up more [...]

At yesterdays FanFest at Raymond James Stadium, Ernest Graham made a surprise appearance and answered questions from reporters.
“I won’t say anything as far as contract but I love this organization,” said Graham. “I’ve been a part of it for five years. There is mutual respect on both sides. I feel good about them, and they feel the same about me. I think those two things will lead to [a new contract] getting done.”
Graham also told the Pewter Report that he will be at all mandatory mini camps and training camp as well. A lot of people forget, because they didn’t [...]

I have been trying to stay as reserved as possible on a subject that seems to rehash itself every few weeks over the past two months. First our “superstar!!” QB wants a new deal and if not he is not going to report to camp. Then, he will report to camp, but he still wants a new deal. Now apparently, this jamoke is contemplating retiring if he does not get the new deal that he is looking for.
“If it doesn’t work itself out, if a contract is not presented as far as a renewal to finish my career, then I [...]

“He’s doing great,” a confident (Jon) Gruden said recently. “I look out my (office) window every morning; I see him, right at the crack of dawn. I swear to that. Every morning I open up my window, and I look out there. As soon as the crack of dawn comes around, he’s out there with a couple of trainers. He’s way ahead of schedule, but we don’t know how close he is to being ready to go.”

The Buccaneers announced this week the release of QB Bruce Gradkowski. Due to his lack of service time in the league, he has to clear waivers before he is actually a free agent. Scout.com is reporting that the Bucs have not actually gone through the process of releasing him with the league office. The Vikings did this a few weeks ago with DE Erasmus James, and eventually secured a trade with the Redskins for his services.
On a seperate note, Bucpower.com called Brucey G the Polish Pop Gun and I thought that was absolutely hilarious.
