Our older daughter (nearly two) had a bout w/retinoblastoma (cancer of the eye), and I've never experienced so frightening in all my life. She survived, but my wife and I will NEVER be the same. Life is fragile and precious and temporary in the best-case scenario. Your story touched my wife and I immensely... you are not alone. Matt,

There’s nothing ANYONE can say about such a thing, but having a 3-month old son myself, I can empathize.
