We can take just about anybody in that second round spot and it would be an upgrade from last year...just sayin...

I know thaat bringing Barry back is unlikely, but it is my wish list! Also the fact that Marinelli never was anything more than a positional coach, and the fact that the Lions were abysmal (albeit maybe not his fault) I doubt people will be clamoring to bring him in as the DC. Same goes for Barry.

I knew the Gano pick would be universally hated, but thats what happens when you take unsexy players!

1) Expecting Joe Barry & Rod Marinelli to come back is pretty wishful thinking and very unlikely. Remember the fact that the Bucs FO wouldnt allow Barry to originally leave to join his father in law, creating some hurt feelings. Raheem will get his chance to get the Bucs back to defensive excellence but if he cant light the fire, look for them to pursue a blitzing coordinator a la Jim Johnson and Spagnulo. Surprising that Gregg Williams is available and wasnt mentioned as a possible replacement.

2) Runs solid routes, has good hands. $16MM guaranteed and $50M total sure is a lot for one great year but he'll get it from someone...might as well be us. Agree.

3) Hes been up and down for a few years. His good has been better than his bad. Would like him back but not to break the bank

4) Pay him and hope the dough wont change him. Difference maker needed for our D.

5) If you say so...

6) Cassel will be Scott Mitchell part deux. Dont like him, though like your reasoning. Thought we would have a shot at McNabb after the Cincy game...doesnt look hopeful now.

7) BJ is the man and possibly the only irreplaceable player on our roster. Unless we get a FB of equal value in lieu of, we need him.

8) Receivers dont win football games (see Cincy, Detroit, Washington, etc etc). They just arent important to overall wins and losses. It would be fun to see and we may be more exciting but id like something to translate into a W. Pass, unless we dont sign Bryant.

9) Or D-Lineman....check that, a d-lineman that is actually good
