Whats Next? Offensive Coordinator

Still in shock by all of this truthfully but lets press on…who will take the reins on our high powered (more like solar powered on a cold day…in a cave) offense?

Just want to list some names from now and we’ll go into a bit more later:

Jeremy Bates– Broncos QB coach under Shannahan, agreed recently to stay on with McDaniels new staff. Helped Cutler mature.

Chan Gailey– Chiefs OC. About to be fired (especially when Gruden inevitably takes them over). Former Steelers OC

Scott Linehan– Former Rams HC. Great offenses in Minny & Miami

Al Saunders– Former Rams OC. Dick Vermeil right hand man for a long time. Great with the Chiefs and Redskins prior to St Louis

Jeff Jagodzinski– Former BC coach. Fired for interviewing with NYJ. Former OC in Green Bay

Steve Sarkisian– USC OC. Been linked to other jobs in the past. He wont have the talent advantage is he accustomed to here.

Mike Martz– Former 49er OC.  Im sure the thought of Jeremy Trueblood brings back too many harsh memories of Kyle Turley wanting to kill him.

Clyde Christensen– HAHAHAHAHAHA

Mike Shula– HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Bill Muir– Fart

Sorry, i got lost on memory lane…wheres my boy Les Steckel when you need him?

The thing to consider will be whether or not he brings in a coach with experience (possibly head coaching experience) to handle that side of the ball and possibly guide him in the right direction for other aspects of being the face of the organization.

Who else is out there? Remember coaches like Ron Turner & Kevin Gilbride wont be able to move laterally amongst teams.

I have been reading today that Linehan is one of the people we are definetely interested in.
