I also wanted to point out that Oher is falling on almost all of the internet draftnick mocks to the point that some say he may fall out of the first round, and I am aware of this. My feeling though is that this has a lot more to do with his 'intangibles' rather than his play on the football field. Whenever you see a player falling on boards when there is no football being played, it always raises a little flag.

Here's a kid who had about as terrible a home life as you can imagine growing up and only 'found' football late in life (again this is all in Michael Lewis' The Blind Side, which is an absolute must read for any football nut). At Ole Miss he suffered through a number of head coaches and 3 different line coaches and was moved around the line a couple times.

The fact is he is the most physically gifted of all the tackles in the draft, I would say even more so than Andre Smith, but his football IQ and experience really hurt him. As for his mental make-up, he now has an excellent support system and an adoptive family that has given him the love he never got as a child. It is my belief that if he gets on the right team and recieves the right type of coaching that he can be as good a LT as there is in the pros, and this is why i had him going so much higher than you will find him in pretty much any other mock out there.

I had a feeling the 2 biggest gripes would be, where is Stafford and the Chargers need a back. I will touch on Stafford and why I had him falling tomorrow.
As for the chargers lack of backs my thinking was Sproles will almost surely be back - especially if they move LT. That said, LT hasn't been given the heave hoe yet, also I see no reason to say Hester doesn't count - this was his rookie year and he was stuck playing behind 2 talented backs, he didnt get many touches but was effective with the handful that he got.

Also this draft is particularly deep at the RB position, it might just be the deepest position in this year's draft, excellent backs like James Davis and Javon Ringer will likely be there late into the third round. However this draft is an extremely weak one for safeties, really no studs aside from Moore, so I decided he gave them the best bang for their buck.

Keep the comments coming, love to hear what people have to say!
