I cant believe what transpired today.

I could see if we were running into a salary cap issue or if we had the makings of a championship team but needed that one extra piece to the puzzle and needed to get younger to do so.  I could understand then…but with neither of those being the case, how do you cut a legend? It just doesnt seem right.

So his play has declined, yes. But what kind of intangibles was he able to bring to every game, every practice, every team meeting? Those things cannot be measured. Do you think it has anything to do with the fact that DB was the first player to call the Steve Duemig show right after Grudens firing to set the record straight on the bashing. He stuck up for Gruden. Maybe, the new regime thinks that is a threat.
