We’re Back Baby!

Excitement is growing all over Tampa Bay again after todays big free agent acquisition. Personally, I think this is exactly the type of move i was waiting for to really put us over the top. Just a quick glance of the roster and you could tell we had only one hole and now we’re set.
Kicker Mike Nugent signed with us today.
Former 2nd round pick of the Jets, Nugent missed almost all of last year due to injury.
Super Bowl or bust
Well, he is signed but hasn’t made the team yet, keep in mind. I think the Bucs are looking at him as maybe a stronger legs on KOs.
March 6th, 2009 at 6:33 pmBTW-IIRC, Gruden said he was set to draft Nugent in Rd. 4, & was surprised he went so early. As it happens, he was more nearly correct in evaluating M.K. as he has never returned even close to 2nd round value.
