Would The Bucs Go After T.O.

After last nights release of Terrell Owens I tried to ponder whether I thought the Bucs would take a flier on potentially signing the volatile wide receiver.  Ok, volatile is a little soft, dude is a freaking headcase.  Even in a down year though, Owens stil had 69 catches, over 1k yards and 10 TD’s.  Coupledwith Antonio Bryant and Michael “how the hell did he get that much gauranteed money” Clayton, we would have a large and dangerous receiving crew.

Than, my brain started working.  Trying to build a young team with some cohesion, brining in Mr. Anti Cohesion would be completely backwards.  While Owens certainly has skills that could help any team, his past is probably going to be too much for most teams.

One team who it probably will not be too much for, is the Oakland Raiders.  Raiders rivals over at Arrowhead Addict, have thrown up a classic T.O. pic.   Make sure to head over to their site as well to check out the full size pic and all their great content.

I was also tempted but my rational side prevailed; you don’t need a guy like this on a team trying to build. NTM I heard on the radio today that he dropped 33 passes last season; makes Clayton look like a piker.
