Buccaneer tickets are some of the most expensive in the NFL! And look at how consistently good this team has been in the last several years (read: they haven't been consistent whatsoever). An empty stadium is an ugly thing, but so is a franchise that is disconnected from it's fanbase. Ticket prices became insane just as the economy was crashing. Then add the last season performance by the team and the offseason... It's not going to get people excited to pay over-inflated ticket prices to games. The economy is part of it, but greed not by the players but the Glazer’s is the primary culprit. Buccaneer tickets are some of the most expensive in the NFL! The NFL will have to retrench & the players are going to have to learn to be less greedy, as are the owners. I can recall in 1976-7 being able to go to Maas Bros. downtown on my lunch hour on a Wednesday or even Thursday, & picking up decent seats (like on the 20-25 yard line, row 55 or so IIRC).
