We are hearing talk of a "personal matter," but no club confirmation of medical problems.This is all up in the air, to me. If Sears is truly absent from OTA's due to concussions, that is very troubling; if he can't practice in shells, how will he be able to hit when camp starts in 6 weeks or so?? I opined in the "Trib" blog that T.B. should look into dealing Sears(if he can pass a physical)to Cleve. for Eric Steinbach; the trade would benefit both clubs in re what they are looking for in new blocking schemes.Sears is more the mauler-type the Browns want, & E.S. is more athletic & quicker, & might thrive in a zone-blocking scheme.
