I liked Leftwich's game better than you.Not perfect but pretty good. NB, it was his first real action in a new scheme & with a new cast of characters.
Sabby for some reason was peering into the offensive backfield a lot (trying for the pick??) rather than watching the routes downfield unfold. This is correctable.... Face it, we knew the secondary was going to be a major weakness going into the game....Mack seemed to be playing two-handed touch on that one TD, but a lot of players are afraid nowadays to make hard hits on the sidelines because of the threat of fines.
Pass rush was obviously poor. Adams a special disappointment; he seemed to revert to his rookie form of taking wide loops around the OT & running himself out of the play. His effort was iffy too.Im not sure he has a future in the NFL, at least playing with his hand on the ground....Not only 0 sacks but only 5 tackles combined by the line.
