P, as far as JJ getting a chance to run the offense, no chance. At some point the Sailsman will get pulled and Freeman will get the keys for the rest of the foreseeable future.

Mike you are correct, Mahan will start, and he should. He has experience playing for this team, as well as experience with every member of the offensive line, an obvious choice.

Looks like Mahan will get the nod. Ýou don't really want a rookie starting at center, what with the line-calls (which Faine may've been the best in the league at)needed at the spot.
I went back & read a bit in the pre-draft pubs about Crowder. He was rated a solid but not elite prospect, sort of a career back-up, capable of contributing. I saw somewhere that the move to the 3-4 took him out of Denver's plans.

Are we really gonna make Josh Johnson the career backup? The guy looked good in preseason, i'd like to see him get a shot at the starting position after the sailsman's performance last week, if that continues. Or do we just move Freeman to the starting position right away later this season. Again, this is assuming Lefty continues to overthrow his receivers. Can you comment on this pls?
