I was just re-reading some old Buccaneers stuff today, and ran across this quote from Bryan Glazer. I wonder if they still feel this way after watching the stadium attendance dwindle this season, or is that uncapped year and the possibility of having no Head Coach under contract for the uncapped year the true motivating factor behind keeping a 3-13 coach.
“Our fans are our stockholders. They’re what we play for — the people in our stadium and the ones that watch on TV. That’s what it’s all about: winning and how they feel about the team. If they don’t feel good about the team, then there’s something wrong. . . I think you all know the sense that’s out there. It was time for a change.”
By the way, that was a quote from when they fired Jon Gruden. I wasn’t making that up for the pretend firing of Radio.
