The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced the signing of center Donovan Raiola. In the past four seasons, Raiola has spent time with the St. Louis Rams, Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Seattle Seahawks. However, he has mostly been a member of these teams’ practice squads, and doesn’t have an real NFL playing time experiance.
If his last name sounds familiar to you, it’s because his older brother, Dominic, is a 10-year veteran lineman with the Detroit Lions.
In order to add Raiola, the Buccaneers had to release center Jeff Tow-Arnett. The undrafted rookie free agent was signed back in May after being on a try-out contract.
