Finally, every member of the Buccaneers’ roster will be at camp. It was reported earlier that starting left tackle Donald Penn had agreed to a new long-term deal, but now, the details of the deal are out publicly. Penn inked a 6 year, $43 million deal. The new deal will pay him around $7 million per year.
But that’s not all Tampa has done in terms of signing their guys. The Bucs and rookie defensive tackle, Gerald McCoy, have finally reached a five-year deal. The terms of the deal regarding money have not been announced yet.
With these two key players locked up, they can now get in to camp and prove their worth to the Tampa organization.
*Update: McCoy’s deal is worth $63.42 miliion ($35 million guaranteed) over 5 years.
