Aqib Talib will be a Buc in 2011.

Injury updates

As the Bucs continue training camp, a few injuries are beginning to take effect on some very important players. DT Brian Price has missed several practices with a sore hamstring. He has returned to practice, but is limited as the coaches monitor his hamstring. Defensive back Myron Lewis is also injured with a sore hamstring and appears to be in worse shape than Price. He has missed the last few practices, but should return soon after his hamstring heals. Neither Price or Lewis will miss any time during the regular season. Both rookies will have limited roles in the upcoming pre-season game against Miami (don’t be surprised is Lewis does not play in this one).

Another injury is to starting corner Aqib Talib who is dealing with a sore groin. Coach Morris doesn’t believe the injury is severe and Talib should be ready to continue practices once fully healed. Talib, like all the other starters, will probably only play one series against Miami on the 14th, which is good, Talib needs the rest. The Bucs need to be healthy and their star players need to be at full health. Hopefully these injuries will heal quickly and they can return to practice and prepare for the season opener.

Well, I guess the only good thing you can take from this is that there seems to be no major injuries. Of course you would like to see everyone healthy and out there, but injuries are an inevitable part of football. The players that are injured right now just need to rest and heal.

Agreed, the injuries are very minor right now, hopefully no one pushes themselves and will be ready for the season opener (no one really cares about the pre-season games).
