Well, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, NFLN’s Rich Eisen and plenty of others (like PFT) in the know, the NFL owners have just opted to lock out the players and as such, the NFL is now in hell-mode. That’s right, as of midnight on March 12, 2011, the league is currently defunct and they will not play again until the the court system gets involved. You know a situation is dire when you actually hope congress gets involved. I will be up all night trying to keep you updated with this. I don’t know if anyone is actually reading, but we at Pewter Plank will continue to provide Bucs fans with the best CBA coverage of any of the blogs. So stay tuned, and we’ll keep you posted.
