Talib’s salary is not very high though. He only got picked twentieth overall so at most I think the Bucs save between five and six million total over the next two years. Talib is by far the best player on our defense, shutdown corners of his level don’t grow on trees so I say who cares what these PR people say? They were the first to blame and hate Morris for our 3-13 season, if our defense looks horrible (like Detroit) when Drew Stanton picked our secondary apart you know damn well that the press is going to be all over Raheem again.

I have to admit the idea of Nnamdi Asomugha is good at this point. I know he is not the traditional corner in the Bucs system, but he adds all the things you say, and it is hard to pass up that kind of talent at corner. Also if Talib is out his entire salary comes off the books.
