Stylez G. White, if nothing else, is a character. You can see it on the field, in his interviews and on Twitter on a near-daily basis. Heck, he changed his name from Greg to Stylez G. to name himself after his favorite movie character from Teen Wolf. If you asked me on the street, ‘what’s the most random thing a guy could change his name to?’ I’d say, “Rupert Stilinski! From the movie Teen Wolf!” You get my point.
Well now the zaniness and hilarity that is Stylez G. White will find its way on to the airwaves in Tampa every Tuesday from 6-8. The two hour show will give Stylez a chance to discuss football and anything else he feels like crowing about for two hours. Former Buccaneers Yo Murphy will also get a show in the same time-slot on Mondays.
“The addition of Stylez G. White and Yo Murphy will bring more excitement to the Sports Explosion Network as well as 1010 AM,” station owner Jeremy Miller said. “Both Stylez and Yo Murphy are still very active in the Tampa Bay community, so it makes sense for them to be a part of this network.”
So Bucs fans, if you’re in Tampa and you’re commuting home after a long day on Tuesdays, now you can have your commute livened up by Stylez. Should be an interesting couple of hours from one of the most interesting guys on the team.
