This is worth the four minutes it takes to watch, this is a great indication of the kind of player the Buccaneers just got in Adrian Clayborn. I’m slowly starting to warm up to the kid, I still don’t think he was the best pick available but I do think he’s going to be a good marriage of run-stuffing and pass-rushing. This is a clip of Clayborn squaring up Gabe Carimi, formerly of Wisconsin and now a member of the Chicago Bears team that the Bucs will take on in London next season. Both are top NFL prospects, first round picks and all-Big 10 selections. As you’ll see, Clayborn can handle his business. Clayborn is lined up at right defensive end (where he’ll play in Tampa) all game, and provides consistent pressure and good run support. Carimi does occasionally get the better of him, but that happens to every lineman, what you’ll see though is a tenacious, high-motor player making an impact on the game.
