As we continue to look at Adrian Clayborn, the newest member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I thought it was worth seeing a different side of him. You can find plenty of information on the player Clayborn is on the field, but part of the reason the Bucs drafted Clayborn is the guy he is off the field. Short of sitting down with him, all you can do is read and watch interviews, and in terms of interviews this was the best I found. Clayborn sat down with Michael A. Smith on ESPN First Take a few weeks ago and discussed the draft process, what it means to become a pro, leaving Iowa and a slew of other things. You can see just from the five minutes that Clayborn is a charismatic kid with an infectious personality. He talks about going on a goodwill tour after he graduates to thank fans of the University of Iowa and he jokes the whole time. It’s a worth a look if you’re trying to get some kind of idea as to who this kid is and not just what he does.
