Don't forget, Clayborn is a RDE only due to the Erb's Palsy. This means that Bowers (when his knee is healthy and he's ready to go) will be facing the opponent's Right Tackle. While all NFL players are exceptionally talented, Right Tackles are rarely the equivalent of their Left Tackle counterparts. Pitting one of the best pass rushers in the draft against the weaker RT on a consistent basis will force teams to shift blocking to their right, which means Clayborn will be getting consistent one on one's and McCoy/Price are more likely to get one man instead of two.

While I love the pass rush potential of the group, my real hope/concern is these guys stopping the run. We know they can rush, but can they stop the run? Our new DE's seem pretty good at run stuffing, so even there I'm happy, but I've yet to see our interior D-line (McCoy/Price) have much success against the run. That HAS to improve this year.

I'm just ecstatic. Mad props to Mark Dominik- after two drafts, you've proven your weight in gold to me. Yes, he could still be a bust- but a #51, the kind of upside this guy offers is astounding. Think of it as Gaines Adams' karmic re-balances from beyond the grave- trying to see his protege achieve the promise he never could with the franchise that first believed in him. Bowers/McCoy/Price/Clayborn- try to tell me that's not a front four that makes you quake in your boots!
