If you couldn’t tell from the previews, big board and draft coverage, I really liked Da’Quan Bowers. Enough that I was a bit irritated the Bucs didn’t grab in the the first round, suggested they should trade up at the beginning of the second and then went nuts when he fell to the Bucs at 51. Bowers knee scared a lot of teams off but this guy has an unreal upside. He could be a stalwart on the Bucs defense if his knee can hold up and that’s well worth the risk in my book.
We spent plenty of time looking at the first round pick, Adrian Clayborn. Well let’s take a look at Da’Quan Bowers now because he deserves plenty of attention too. In my opinion, Bowers has a higher ceilingg than Clayborn, and that’s not on a slight on AC at all. Bowers is just more dynamic. He makes plays that just pop. Here’s a look at Bowers. This is the best video I’ve found, I didn’t make it and don’t own the rights to the music, but I have to hand it to VikingsWorld, they make a great video.
