I figured we’d step away from lockout coverage and Bucs minicamp updates for a second to cover something a little more off-beat. The NFL referees are preparing for the season as if there is no lockout and going through their regular routing to get ready for the upcoming year. This is a video of Mike Pereira, formerly in charge of NFL officiating, interviewing the infamous Ed Hochuli about their off-season prep. I really found a lot of this to be interesting because, and be honest, we have no idea what the referees do outside of the three hours they’re throwing flags on Sunday. So if you have a few minutes, this is well worth the view.
