Is it feasible? Sure. Is it gonna happen? No way. And here's why... Asomugha is going to demand a contract that is a minimum of 4 years in length, maybe 5 or 6. At about $10M per year, the Bucs can afford that now. But in 3 years, when they have to resign guys like Blount, Williams, Benn, etc. they'll want that cap room for the young guys.

The Bucs will have to sign some free agents (their own and from other teams) to reach the cap. But they would (and probably should) stick with paying a little more(than valued) per year for a shorter term (2 to 3 years max) for some second tier guys that can be dumped to clear up room when we need that money for our own guys.

Most of our guys can't have their contracts renegotiated until the contract is up or at least past it's second year, so we're gonna have to wait to spend money on our own young guys at least another year. Wouldn't it be awful if we lost out on some of the young guys we have, because we had all our money tied up in a couple free agents that won't even be around in 5 years.
