The NFL Lockout is OVER

The NFLPA has just voted unanimously to approve the new NFL CBA which means that labor peace will once again be restored to the NFL landscape. This was a move that many had predicted since the weekend, but I personally wasn’t going to be ready to call this one over until I saw the final votes passed on both sides. That happened this morning and this afternoon respectively as neither side wasted any more time in resolving this issue. There’s a ton of news on how this thing is going to work and the timeline the NFL will be employing in order to get things moving and camps started.

But for now we can rest all just enjoy the fact that after 130+ days of a standing lockout, players will now be reporting, free agents will now be signed, draft picks negotiated with and football will be back. That’s right football will be back. Stay tuned we’ll break down the timeline coming up here in a minute as well as follow up on any CBA related details as well. Stay tuned.
