Our friends over at Goal-Line Stand have an updated power rankings heading into camp. Now everyone knows these things mean absolutely nothing at this stage in the year. Every team has yet to even play a down and is a blown achilles or a bad break away from the NFL cellar. But who doesn’t like a good power ranking and the guys at GLS always do a pretty solid job with them.
In this batch they have the Buccaneers at 9, behind the Falcons, Saints and… Rams? Ok, I said pretty solid job with them.
9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (–)
Took care of their important UFAs but I wish they’d spent more money ($30 million in cap space).
The Bucs being behind the Saints and Falcons is understandable considering the team went a combined 1-3 against their divisional rivals. This year I look for Tampa to at the very least split the series with both. At any rate, check the rankings out by clicking the link below.
