The Bucs start the preseason with a defensive domination

I am excited to be in charge of breaking down the defense for all you Bucs fans this season.  I will be submitting a defensive breakdown on a weekly basis, and will also give you some Intel on upcoming opponents before games starting at the beginning of the season.  Stay tuned for all the latest on the Bucs defense’s victories and upcoming challenges.  We also have other writers and contributors offering you breakdowns on the offense, recaps, and a vast variety of perspective.

The Buccaneers completely dominated the Kansas City Chiefs in their first preseason game.  It was complete defensive domination that led to their 25-0 win inKansas City.  There was some concern for both teams coming in and playing after all the complications caused by the lockout, but the Bucs defense really impressed me.  The defense was the first unit to see the field, of course after special teams kicked off the ball.  The first indication that this was going to be fun to watch was when cornerback, Elbert Mack, stuffed Quinten Lawrence at the 8 yard line on the opening kickoff.   This was the start to complete domination for the Bucs.  Let’s not get too excited and remember that this was a preseason game, but there is still much to look forward to.  Here is a breakdown isolating each defensive unit.
