Up to game time injury report for the Week 2 matchup of the Buccaneers vs Vikings. I will update the players as more information becomes available. All statuses as of 12:00 EST.
LB E.J. Henderson is a game time decision for a knee injury. The official site of the Minnesota Vikings has just posted that Henderson not only will play, but will start.
DE Adrian Awasom was questionable and was limited in practice this week with a knee injury, and he is on the official inactive list.
WR Michael Jenkins and CB Asher Allen were both listed as probable, and both practiced this week, and are active.
CB Myron Lewis is still out with the ankle injury, but he did practice some this week, so hopefully we can expect him back in the next couple of weeks.
WR Sammie Stroughter is out with the foot injury he sustained last week, and reportedly had surgery. As I alluded to in the Midweek Gameplan this week, he may not return for 1-2 months.
TE Kellen Winslow lives on this list every week and he is a go again today. His official injury was even listed as “non-injury related.” He is officially active for the game and will start.
T James Lee was listed as questionable with a knee injury, and he is on the inactive list for the game, which is not good for the offensive line as Lee provides good depth at tackle. Demar Dotson is also inactive so that leaves us without much depth at tackle.
DE Da’Quan Bowers was on the report this week, but he looks like he will have no restrictions. This is listed as a shoulder injury, so it is not the knee that everyone is worried about. He practiced this week, so it must not be too bad.
The other Bucaneers inactives are RB A. Bradford, S L. Asante, and CB A. Gaitor.
