Here is the early look at the injury reports for the Bucs and Falcons.
DT Jonathan Babineaux and CB Kelvin Hayden have been ruled out for the game due to knee and hamstring issues, respectively. The loss of Babineaux is the tough one for Atlantaas he can be a large part of their defense which has strugged to stop opponents in the first two games.
LB Stephen Nicholas is questionable with a calf injury and looks like a game time decision, but may not be active for the game as he was limited in practice this week.
DEs John Abraham and Ray Edwards both practiced this week and should be at full speed for the game. This will help the Falcons with the loss of Babineaux, and give them some pass rush.
C Todd McClure, DT Corey Peters, QB Matt Ryan, S Shann Schillinger, and WR Roddy White were all listed as probable for the game and it’s almost like the Falcons have gone all Patriots with their excessive injury listings. All of these players participated in practice this week
T James Lee and WR Sammie Straughter are both out with the ankle and foot injuries as reported previously. No surprise there.
LB Quincy Black is doubtful with an ankle injury and this will be more snaps for Mason Foster and more of Dakota Watson on the field.
DE Tim Crowder and TE Kellen Winslow are both probable and should be active and playing. This is good news for Crowder as he is important for the defensive line depth, as they all got a little dinged up last week.
