Hey guys, we’d like to wish you all a very safe and enjoyable halloween, from everyone on The Pewter Plank’s staff. Over the weekend there was plenty of frightful play. The Saints laid an egg in St. Louis and allowed the Rams to leave the ranks of the winless. The Giants almost dropped a home game to the hapless Dolphins. Perhaps nothing was scarier than the play of Tim Tebow though.
All kidding aside though, look for some exciting new changes at The Pewter Plank over the next several weeks. Starting next week we’ll do a position-by-position breakdown of the Buccaneers at the mid-season point (after eight games), we’ll kick that off with a little bit of a preview in a special Tuesday night edition of our Pewter Plank podcast tomorrow and there will also be several new features and columns, as well as a few aesthetic changes.
Finally, I’d also like to apologize on a personal level. I have been absent through more of the first half of the season than I would have liked. I took a job writing for the Miami Herald, covering the Florida State Seminoles, and it has been far more time-consuming than I could have imagined. Fortunately, I’ll have some more time free to commit to The Pewter Plank from here on, so look for a much greater volume of coverage to go along with the already stellar writing of Josh, Joel and Dr. McKenna.
Happy Halloween! And make sure to follow us on Twitter.
