Last Minute Preview: The clock on the Bucs season is running out and being towards the end of the season and being in a four game skid is not a good way to go about making the playoffs. The Bucs will face their toughest and fiercest challenge yet this season in the undefeated Green Bay Packers. Unlike the 49ers, Bears, Texan and Saints (all teams that blew away the Bucs) the Packers are expceted to shred the Buccaneers to bits and their quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, is probably the best player in football.
The point is the Bucs weren’t expecting a blow out when it has happened this year and now with the Packers, not only is it a strong possibility the Bucs get crushed, everyone and their Grandma are discounting this game as not even a real matchup and are already crowning the Pack 10-0. The Bucs can be steamed about this but they really haven’t shown a whole lot this season that should make folks think otherwise. But as bi-polar as this team is the Bucs might actually pull out the upset. They have the tools to do so, they just need to have them click in a way they haven’t all season. Any mistake will be exploited by the Packers and will spell doom for Tampa. But stranger things have happened in the NFL this year and in the matchup history of these two teams. Remember that the Packers were pretty good two seasons ago and came into Tampa facing a win-less Bucs squad. We all know how that game finished so never say never when it comes to the crazy miracles this Bucs team are able to pull off.
