Free agency doesn’t start until Tuesday but the Buccaneers are already beginning to erase the ugliness that enveloped the end of last season and are replacing it by selling stocks of hope int he future.
According to NFL sources, the two guys handing out hope stock is looking more and more like Cortland Finnegan and Vincent Jackson.
Both players are considered the top available player at their position and adding both would instantly make the Bucs respectable and drag them out of the mud the got themselves stuck in.
But it would also bring comparisons to last years Philadelphia Eagles and their ‘Dream Team’ that failed to make the playoffs.
Cortland Finnegan has been texting VJax in hopes of recruiting him to CF’s next team, which is looking like Tampa.

There is nothing more then source speculation at this point, but if you’ve been following Buccaneers football at all you’ll know that the Bucs aren’t the kind of team that just generate national speculation of this magnitude.
That means that there is some traction to this story. If there is one thing to take away from this it’s that Cortland Finnegan is seriously considering joining the Bucs and pairing himself with Aqib Talib and potentially Morris Claiborne.
It was a dark season for the Buccaneers but the franchise has received a face lift and if Cortland Finnegan and Vincent Jackson are willing to come here (albeit via massive contracts), then Tampa must not be as badd off as we all assumed.
