On the flip side of the Adrian Peterson coin is Rashad Jennings, who is getting the start
for
over Maurice Jones-Drew on Sunday. Jennings has looked impressive so far this preseason and had a standout game against the Ravens. Now that talent and potential will be put to the test and you better believe that orders are coming from the top to work Jennings like a dog against the Vikings poor run defense. Not only is it a favorable matchup for Jennings, but Shad Khan and company are going to want to show MJD that he’s not the only back in town who can lead the offense. Khan’s fantasy is to have Jennings vaporize the Vikings on Sunday, thus further thumbing his nose at Jones-Drew. And Khan’s fantasy is your blessing. The Jaguars will test out Justin Blackmon and their receivers but the offense is going to flow through Jennings on Sunday and even if he’s kept out of the endzone, it’s likely that his yardage total makes up for it at the end of the day.
