Sit ‘Em: Peyton Manning – QB/Denver Broncos (vs. Pittsburgh Steelers)

Finally, a player other than a running back. If you own Peyton Manning, like Adrian Peterson, he’ll be good in the long run but not right away. This time last year if you held your fantasy lineup 90-degrees to either side of Manning’s head he wouldn’t be able to read it. So not only does he have the neck kinks to work out, but he’s tasked with doing it against a defense that has allowed the fewest fantasy points against opposing quarterbacks dating back to last season. Manning used to be able to overcome that, but he’s not the guy he was two years ago and that rust will show Sunday night. Don’t forget, it’s not like Peyton is just debuting for the Broncos, he hasn’t played since early 2011. He’s a Hall of Famer but even legends get rusty after a while. Manning won’t be shaking any of it off on your fantasy lineup Sunday night.
