Start ‘Em: Doug Martin – RB|Buccaneers (vs. Kansas City Chiefs)

The Kansas City Chiefs have allowed five touchdowns to opposing running backs so far this year and Doug Martin might be the most dangerous they’ve faced yet. The Bucs traded back into the first round to get Martin because he’s such a versatile back, and this might be the week we finally see why it was so smart to trade away some of your draft to get him. Greg Schiano and company have full faith in Martin and despite what some experts are saying, Martin is going to get a decen work load this week. The only way he gets anything less than that is if he splits carries with LeGarrette Blount, but if Martin gets 23 carries, what’s the big deal? It might not be a gigantic game for Martin, but it will be a return to form.
