Sit ‘Em: Alfred Morris – RB|Redskins (vs. Minnesota Vikings)

Despite having the best season a Redskins running back has had in a good long while, Alfred Morris is going to run into a brick wall this week. The Vikings might not beat the Redskins but if they lose it won’t be because Morris gashed them. The Vikings are a solid defense again, and they’re bringing back memories of their dominating 2009 season that saw them stifle every running back they’ve seen. Last week Chris “CJ2K” Johnson did not break out which goes to show this defense is for real. But if you need more disanalogies as to why Morris will fail think about this, Maurice Jones-Drew, Mikel Leshoure, Donald Brown and Frank Gore all combined for just 21 fantasy points against this Vikings defense. Morris is great, but he’s not better than the best backs in the game yet. If you do start Morris, expect at best a 5-7 point day.
