On Thursday night the Buccaneers went into the Metrodome in downtown Minneapolis and trashed the then 5-2 Minnesota Vikings 36-17, proving once again that this team has the potential to be amazing. Everything went right for Tampa on Thursday, from Doug Martin’s career day to Josh Freeman setting a Buccaneers record it seemed Tampa could do no wrong.
The last three games have been easy highlight reels to fill out, and this third game in that set was without a doubt the easiest. There were so many highlights, we had to omit some altogether. But for you’re viewing pleasure, here’s a look at the damage the Bucs did last night in Minneapolis.
Ronde Barber Strips Adrian Peterson Clean
After the Bucs jumped out to a 13-7 lead, the Vikings looked like they were going to get back into the game after putting together promising drives and stout defensive stops. But the Buccaneers put a quick end to that when Mark Barron and Ronde Barber teamed up to force the Vikings second turnover of the game when Adrian Peterson was stripped clean of the ball deep in Vikings territory. Barber was all over the place on Thursday night and this play was without a doubt one of his biggest in the game.
