Doug Martin and Adrian Peterson Run Back-to-Back 64 Yard TDs
Adrian Peterson is without a doubt one of the best runners in the NFL and he proved that even reconstructive knee surgery can’t hold him back from being a beast out of the backfield. But Doug Martin did his best impression of the All-Pro back, out running him on the night and matching Peterson almost verbatim on a touchdown run. Martin’s came first, and he dazzled and dashed through the Vikings defense for a huge score. But Peterson bounced right back with a run of his own which ended with his patent high step. Both runners were great on Thursday but after seeing Peterson’s run, it makes the fact that Martin was the better back even sweeter.
