2013 NFL Draft: Dates, Times, Information, Television and Internet Coverage and Live Streams

It’s Christmas in April for NFL Fans, as the NFL Draft is upon us. Here is all the information you need to know about the NFL Draft, so you can follow along with every pick the Buccaneers make, and all of the selections made by every other team in the NFL. Be sure to tune in starting tonight (Thursday night) because you never know if the Bucs will trade back into the first round. Not to mention, the Panthers, Saints, and Falcons will all be selecting, so it will be very interesting to see who the newest additions to the Buccaneers’ rivals will be.

WHAT: 78th Annual NFL Draft (Annual Selection Meeting)

WHERE: Radio City Music Hall, New York City

WHEN: 8:00 PM ET, Thursday, April 25 (Round 1).

6:30 PM ET, Friday, April 26 (Rounds 2-3).

Noon ET, Saturday, April 27 (Rounds 4-7).

The first round will conclude on Thursday by approximately 11:15 PM ET. In 2012, the first round consumed exactly three hours. The second and third rounds will conclude on Friday by approximately 10:30 PM ET. The second and third rounds took three hours and 48 minutes in 2012. The draft will conclude by approximately 7:30 PM ET on Saturday with the final four rounds. Rounds 4 through 7 took seven hours and 17 minutes in 2012.

ROUNDS: Seven Rounds – Round 1 on Thursday, April 25; Rounds 2 and 3 on Friday, April 26; and Rounds 4 through 7 on Saturday, April 27.

There will be 254 selections, including 32 compensatory choices that have been awarded to 16 teams that suffered a net loss of certain quality unrestricted free agents last year.

The New York Jets (Nos. 9 and 13), St. Louis Rams (Nos. 16 and 22) and Minnesota Vikings (Nos. 23 and 25) have two selections in the first round. Seattle, Tampa Bay and Washington do not have first-round picks. All other teams have one first-round selection.

TIME LIMITS: Round 1: 10 minutes per selection. Round 2: Seven minutes per selection. Rounds 3 through 7: Five minutes per selection.

TELEVISION: NFL Network, ESPN/ESPN 2 will televise the draft on all three days. (ESPN is DirecTV Ch. 206, NFL Network is DirecTV Ch. 212)

INTERNET & MOBILE: Live streaming on Thursday, April 25 at 8:00 PM ET and Friday, April 26 at 6:30 PM ET, Live Presented by Courtyard provides comprehensive coverage of the 2013 NFL Draft from Radio City Music Hall.
