Hello and welcome again to Pewter and Read, your daily source for the Bucs’ stories we’re reading from around the internet. Check out what has been going on today:

  • Stephen Holder with the Tampa Bay Times has a report on some personnel moves in the Buccaneers’ front office, including a promotion for Shelton Quarles, and a new hire to help Mark Dominik. Nothing major, but as Holder notes, it’s all worth keeping an eye on. Plus, congrats to Shelton, who is moving up the ranks in a hurry.
  • Just how good is Darrelle Revis? ESPN Stats and Info included a small write-up about the Buccaneers new cornerback, which can be found here. Summary: He’s really good.
  • Single game tickets go on sale soon. There have been rumors that tickets are selling really well this offseason, so you’ll want to buy your tickets soon if you want to attend any games this year. Support your Bucs!
  • And over at the ESPN NFC South blog, we learn that Doug Martin was one of the best in the NFL after first contact. As I wrote earlier today, Doug is to be respected heading into his 2013 sophomore season, because he could have an amazing year. He’s already one of the best running backs in the league, and it seems like there is still room to grow.

That’s it for today. Join us again tomorrow for more Bucs news and opinions!
