#Bucs Inactives: #5 QB J. Freeman; #21 CB M. Adams; #28 R. Melvin; #71 DE T. Scott; #72 G/T G. Carimi; #84 TE T. Crabtree; #90 DT D. Landri

For some this will come as a surprise, but to others it may have been expected to see Josh Freeman on the list. It really didn’t make much sense to keep him active if you don’t trust him enough to give him the start. There are also reports out there (@RapSheet) that Freeman missed more than a single team meeting. More reason for his being inactive. The great news is that neither Vincent Jackson or Mike Williams are on the list, so Mike Glennon‘s won’t be grounded before he ever gets the chance. Unfortunately the Tom Crabtree experience is still not ready to go, so the Bucs will continue to rely on Tim Wright and Nate Byham.
#Cardinals Inactives: S R. Johnson, QB R. Lindley, LB K. Minter, RB R. Williams, T B. Massie, G E. Watford, NT D. Williams

For the Cardinals, after losing a tip of his finger Rashad Johnson tried all week to get back on the field. Doctors did not clear him to go. As a fellow 9.8375 fingered man (mine was from a table saw) I cannot believe this was even a possibility. I could barely think a week later, let alone play a football game. Other than Johnson, no real surprises on this list.
