Poll: Should the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fire Greg Schiano as Soon as Possible?

It’s a simple yes or no question. Is it time for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to move on from Greg Schiano to send a message to the team that this level of performance is not acceptable? Rather than waiting until the end of the season to see if things turn around, have you seen enough to say that Schiano’s time in Tampa Bay is done?

The team is 1-11 in its last 12 games, and the past six performances have been riddled with mental mistakes, and a general lack of discipline. The team seems to be outcoached every week, and there are no signs of improvement.

So is it time to move on and start all over in 2014 with a new head coach? Or do you believe there’s more to the situation than a failure by the coaching staff? Be sure to chime in with a comment below if you feel there is more to the story than poor coaching.

Leave your answer to the poll by choosing an option below, and leave any thoughts you may have in the comments section at the bottom of the article.

Schiano is not up to coaching in the NFL. He needs to go ASAP. Unfortunately the Glazers aren’t known for making big moves like that during the season. They need to now though. I hear Lovie Smith isn’t doing anything at the moment.

He is being out coached hardcore, c’mon the darn falcons don’t have a darn receiver worth mentioning and whooped our asses with just X’s and O’s it’s almost not fair. I feel like a raiders team. Shit at least they’ve won, we haven’t even scratched that. BTW he can’t blame freeman for that neither! He needs to go, there is too much dirty laundry on him and he doesn’t care to wash it because it is his soap or nothing! #fireschiano

After this game it’s obvious that coaching is at the heart of all their problems. Sciano has his coordinators gameplaning just like he did at Rutgers. Down 2 scores and run the ball with under 5 minutes to play. Did you notice how his hardass camp would show how in shape this team would be in the 4th.quarter Our offence was sucking wind at the end. He has this team beatdown with his college ways. Please glaziers get rid of this guy and start a search now for a real nfl coach.

The ship has sunk, the “captain” should be the first to walk the plank.

Schiano not only should be FIRED NOW, but he should have been fired before Freeman was released!!! His system was not a match for Josh, tho all the records he set last year suggests Free tried his best!! With the mismatch, I’m dumbfounded why Schiano was even hired!! Why the he|| were they paired together in the 1st place?? This tells me Mark Dominick made a very poor hire, & this after the Morris hiring fiasco!!! Given Mark’s woeful draft history, HE NEEDS TO GO, TOO!!! & NOW, before he ruins next year’s draft & likely 1st pick!!!

He brought in the league’s best press cover corner and wastes him in zone coverage. That alone should have gotten him fired after the Arizona game, surely after the Eagles. The offensive play calling has been highly suspect. The penalties reflect a lack of discipline and that’s supposed to be the one thing Schiano was good at. He needs to go, now. Wandstedt can play Interim for the rest of the season since he’s head coached before and we can spend the rest of the time figuring out what the hell to do next year because this is a disaster and this defense deserves better.

Yes he needs to go ASAP. I thought he was all about discipline but why is this team still making boneheaded penalties. He is using an outdated system on offense and has no clue on how to use Revis or make halftime adjustments. He doesnt have Freeman to blame anymore. He is a lame duck dead man walking coach
