Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis left the Bucs game against the Detroit Lions late in the first half due to a groin injury according to reports:

The injury is not ACL related though which is the biggest relief for the Buccaneers. However, the groin injury occurred in his left leg, which is the same leg that he tore his ACL.

According to FOX sideline reporter, Laura Okmin, Revis missed the final “two or three” plays of the first half with the groin injury. She also added that he appeared to be in a lot of pain on the sideline.

Revis had been covering Lions star receiver Calvin Johnson in the first half, where Johnson had 61 receiving yards on four catches.

Revis’ return is listed as questionable, although he is standing on the sideline with his helmet on. However, he has been seen removing his tape and gloves leaving it highly doubtful he returns to the game.
