With the Tampa Buccaneers 2013 season in the books, their schedule for 2014 has now been determined.
While the dates and game times won’t be released until the Spring of 2014, the home and away opponents have been determined.
The Buccaneers will play the NFC North and AFC North based on the yearly rotation schedule the league has in place, while they will play the Rams and Redskins based on the Bucs’ fourth place finish in the NFC South.
Home - Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, St Louis Rams
Away - Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Washington Redskins
The draft order has also been set for the teams that failed to make the playoffs now that the regular season has concluded. Despite a 4-12 record, the Buccaneers will have the seventh overall selection in the 2014 draft.
The Bucs will have plenty of options at number seven, and with improvements needed at many positions, the Bucs will have the opportunity to draft a player that will make an immediate impact on the team. They will pick third in the second round, as the order rotates every round among teams with tied records.
