Bucs Trade Up to Pick No. 149, Select Kevin Pamphile

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have traded back into the 5th round to select Purdue T Kevin Pamphile.

Tampa Bay gave up their 7th round pick (No. 221) this year, and one of their two 5th round picks next year, to the Buffalo Bills in order to move up and select Pamphile.

The Bucs have now added two offensive linemen in the 5th round of the 2014 NFL Draft after deciding to tackle other positions in the earlier rounds.

Pamphile is 6’5″, 310 pounds, and is a former defensive lineman, so he knows how defenders think. That should be a positive when he puts on a Tampa Bay Buccaneer uniform.

His biggest strength may be his ability to tame speed rushers off of the edge. That should do wonders in Tampa, as the Bucs want to keep their quarterbacks upright.
