The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made a roster move on Wednesday, waiving CB Anthony Gaitor and signing long snapper Andrew DePaola.
Gaitor was drafted by the Buccaneers in the 7th round of the 2011 NFL Draft, and hasn’t produced since. He has recorded 12 tackles and no interceptions in his NFL career. He was placed on injured reserve for the entire 2013 NFL season.
The former FIU star will now be added to the list of Mark Dominik draftees that never worked out in Tampa Bay.
DePaola, a 26 year old out of Rutgers, went undrafted in 2012 and signed a futures contract with the team in January of 2013. He will compete with Jeremy Cain for the Bucs’ long snapper gig this preseason.
