The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are starting to cut down their rosters and that means some familiar names are getting cut.
One name that wasn’t too surprising of a cut was cornerback Danny Gorrer. Unlike most cute, Gorrer was let go thanks to injury, as he was placed on injured reserve earlier this week and the released after he passed through waivers.
Tampa Bay paid out an in jury settlement to him as well, which at least leaves Gorrer with something to show for his time in Tampa Bay.

This isn’t that surprising but it’s still sad to see Gorrer get let go. Tampa Bay had a miserable secondary the last two years which is why it’s hard to let anyone go but at the same time, there’s clearly a reason for the release.
