The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been operating without the services of offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford recently as he’s been dealing with a medical procedure and the ensuing recovery.
It’s not known just what the procedure was but Tedford is recovering well so far and plans on being back with the Bucs soon. According to Michael Sivler from NFL Network, the Bucs offensive coordinator is expected to be back with the team what seems like before Week 1’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
Heard from Bucs offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford earlier. He is doing well after a medical procedure and will be back at work soon.

Tedford’s offense will be fun to watch develop this season as he has a veteran quarterback in Josh McCown, a stout running back in Doug Martin and a twin towers receiving corps of Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson. To boot, rookie tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins is looking like he will be a stud, which is great news for a Bucs team that has gone without a hybrid tight end for years.
It’s going to be a fun year for the Bucs and thankfully Tedford is recovering and will be a major part of leading the way on Lovie Smith’s sideline this season.
